Trimble County junior catcher/utility player Savannah Oldson has been named North Central Kentucky Conference Softball Player of the Week.

Oldson finished the week with 10 hits — including two doubles — and a .778 batting average as the Lady Raiders notched four total wins over Walton-Verona, Louisville Central and St. Henry.

Meanwhile, Carroll County senior Branon Battaglia was named the North Central Kentucky Conference Baseball Player of the Week.

Battaglia is batting .600 and was 6-for-10 with, three RBI, two sacrifice flies and a run scored while striking out just once in the week. On the mound he recorded a save while allowing only one earned run in three innings with two strikeouts and a 2.33 ERA.
